American spelling only, please!

Today I had a good laugh when I visited this page and the accompanying list of rules (or “commandments” :mrgreen:).

Despite the bias in this so-called “encyclopedia” whose only purpose is to replace the oh-so-biased Wikipedia there are some really funny things to be found. Given the “commandments” they make complete sense :mrgreen: … excerpt:

4. When referencing dates based on the approximate birth of Jesus, give appropriate credit for the basis of the date (B.C. or A.D.). “BCE” and “CE” are unacceptable substitutes because they deny the historical basis. See CE.

That one is particularly funny given the word in bold. So it means I was born approximately 1979 A.D., plus/minus 5 years or so :mrgreen: … quite useful for females in the age between 30 and 40 :lol:

Where else in the world would you find web addresses such as myip.is or pen.is … if not in Iceland … :mrgreen:

It must be the Brennivin which causes this ;)
